Mastiffs

A friend and local dog breeder shares a deep love for Bullmastiffs—and so does her daughter. When Gillian requested custom portraits of her favorite mastiffs, we couldn’t say no. Using a Wacom tablet and Adobe Photoshop, I meticulously crafted digital portraits of Margo, Mack, and Barley, layering texture, value, and detail through hours of hatching and dot work to bring each dog’s personality to life.

Once completed, the portraits were printed onto t-shirts, perfect for dog shows, breeding events, and everyday wear. Seeing the artwork come to life on fabric was incredibly rewarding, giving Gillian and her family a unique way to showcase their beloved dogs.

A Hot Commodity

The project was such a hit that other pet owners soon wanted their own custom portraits. What started as a personal passion project quickly turned into a series of commissioned pieces, each capturing the special bond between pets and their owners.
