Hey There!

Hi, I’m Cassidy—an artist through and through.

Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, from childhood doodles with markers and construction paper to a career in graphic design, multimedia art, and photography. I’ve always been drawn to making things with my hands, whether it’s sketching, painting, or capturing moments through a camera lens.

Over the years, I’ve honed my artistic skills and turned my passion into a fulfilling career, blending traditional techniques with modern design. I thrive on collaboration, problem-solving, and hands-on creativity, always looking for new ways to bring ideas to life. I also believe in balance—spending time outdoors, working with my hands, and connecting with the world beyond the screen. Creativity doesn’t just happen in front of a computer; it’s found in the experiences we immerse ourselves in every day.

The Horse-Girl Phase Never Ended

I was bitten by the horsey bug at the young age of five, and that love has only deepened over the years.

Riding isn’t just an athletic endeavor—it’s an intuitive, character-building experience that teaches discipline, resilience, and balance. Horses have an incredible way of keeping you humble and grounded while also pushing you to be strong, confident, and patient. I owe much of who I am to the horses I’ve worked with and the incredible people in the equestrian world who have guided me along the way.

Today, I’m proud to manage Rust Grove Farms, LLC, where I dedicate myself to providing the best care for both horses and riders. Whether it's hands-on horse care, training, or creating a welcoming environment for equestrians of all backgrounds, I strive to make Rust Grove a place where people and horses alike can thrive.

Explorer at Heart

While I’m certainly a homebody, I also have a deep appreciation for adventure. There’s something wonderful about stepping into new environments, tuning in with nature, and experiencing different ways of life. Whether it’s hiking through the woods, visiting a new city, or simply wandering down a quiet beach, I believe there’s always something to learn from the world around us. I find so much inspiration in the textures, colors, and stories hidden in different landscapes, which often influence my art and design.

I’m also a passionate rockhound— as a true Michigander, I can spend hours sifting through stones along Michigan’s Great Lakes.. I’m certain some future geologist will stumble upon my collection and wonder how such a great variety of stones ended up in one spot…guilty.

Freelancer and Artist

My commission-based career began earlier than most—back in elementary school, where I found myself creating classroom diagrams, portraits, and illustrations for teachers. That early passion for art only grew stronger, evolving into sophisticated graphite portraits, life-sized equine anatomical paintings, and digital commissions.

Over time, I expanded my skill set, blending traditional art techniques with digital design, which eventually led me to photography. My love for capturing moments through a lens truly took off in college when my then-boyfriend (now-husband) gifted me my first DSLR camera. That small act turned into a full-fledged passion, and I’ve since had the privilege of photographing weddings, sporting events, senior portraits, and even intimate end-of-life sessions. Working as a freelancer has taught me invaluable lessons—not just about art, but about business, communication, and the importance of standing behind my work with confidence.

Green and White

I’m a proud Michigan State University graduate, Class of 2019, with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Digital Humanities. My time at MSU was an incredible experience, filled with creative exploration, hands-on learning, and collaboration with talented peers and professors. It was a time of growth, both personally and professionally, as I refined my skills and prepared to step into the real world as a designer and artist. While I cherished my time on campus, I was eager to take what I had learned and apply it to real-world creative challenges.

Now, I’m excited to put my passion and skills to work, creating meaningful, visually compelling designs that connect with people. I’m eager to contribute to society’s creative scene – whether through design, illustration, or photography, I’m always looking for ways to make an impact.

Go Green!
